Seventh International FIAP-ASOFONDOS Congress – Cartagena de Indias – Colombia.

The Seventh FIAP-ASOFONDOS International Congress was held on April 3 and 4, 2014, in the Hilton Hotel in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.

True to our commitment, the level of excellence of previous years was remained. Particularly, we counted with the conference of Richard Thaler, a University of Chicago professor and pioneer in research on the impacts of psychology on market behavior. Thaler’s contributions have been recognized by the Nobel Prize in Behavioral Economics, Daniel Kahneman, who has hailed him as the co-founder of this field of research.

In this seventh version of the Congress, an outstanding group of national and international speakers called for reflection on international recovery and its impact on financial markets, institutional investment and pension systems. Also there was a special session on the main problems facing Colombia and successful experiences in other countries.
