The Panamanian Association of Business Executives, APEDE, driven by the aim of placing Panamanian executives at the center of the national debate on socioeconomic issues and the comprehensive development of the country, held the Annual Executives Conference (CADE). Under the slogan “For a Sustainable Panama: Transformation of the Economic, Institutional and Social Model,” this year’s Conference addressed the issues of employability, labor regulations, pension system (CSS), government bureaucracy and the institutional framework. The event was broadcasted nationwide on the ECOTV channel (Panama television) and the APEDE’s social networks, on April 25, 26 and 27, 2022.

On April 26, FIAP’s president, Guillermo Arthur, spoke on “The role of the individually funded systems and global trends in pensions,” in the panel “Pension system, Social Security Fund.”
