Source: Boletín Diario de Seguros de América Latina and www.previsionparatodos.cl

The education will be one of the strategic priorities in the work of the Chilean AFP Association in the coming months. This was one of the messages transmitted yesterday its president, Rodrigo Pérez Mackenna, announcing the creation of a new management by Irina Toro. The journalist explied the ‘Previsión Para Todos’ program (www.previsionparatodos.cl) is aimed to reach people through lectures, workshops and online courses, with special focus on young people and workers.

This initiative is the result of an Adimark study with figures as of 2014, which shows that 90% of people know just something of the AFP system, nearly 60% do not know what is their monthly contribution (as a % of the salary) and that 45% do not have information on the amounts they have saved in the Pension Fund Administrators (AFP).
You can review the official statement of the Chilean AFP Association reporting on the new website www.previsionparatodos.cl and the establishment of the Pension Education as one of the strategic priorities in its work.
